About me
I am a Ph.D. student working with Dr. Ward Struthers in the Social & Personality Psychology program at York University. In the Social Motivation Lab, we aim to understand interpersonal transgression victims’ motivation to harbour a grudge, seek revenge, and forgive, as well as transgressors’ motivation to apologize or not. I have developed a keen interest in grudge holding motivation, and currently, I’m studying how, when, and why victims hold a grudge toward their transgressors.
I have a side interest in empathy and prosocial responses. I completed my master thesis about individuals’ empathic responses to exonerees and received a M.Sc. in the Forensic Psychology program at Ontario Tech University in 2022. |
